About this support

Personal care with dignity

Support with showering, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence, getting in and out of bed, medication reminders and everyday routines. Your care plan is shaped around your needs.

Support around daily routines

Care may include help with preparing meals and eating, personal hygiene, daily errands and medication reminders. Tell the team what feels difficult and what you would like to keep doing independently.

Private or funded support

Personal care may be arranged through an approved Support at Home package or private care. If you are unsure how to access aged care, the team can help explain the next step.

Review care as needs change

Your Care Partner can review the care plan and help arrange a new My Aged Care assessment when needed. Support is adjusted within your approved arrangements and programme rules.

Care that understands you

Care Partners listen to you and your family to develop a person-centred plan. Services can be reviewed as needs change, within available funding and programme rules. Our team supports cultural needs; many staff speak Russian, Hebrew, Polish or Hungarian as well as English.

Getting started

Contact JewishCare to discuss your needs. If you are enquiring on someone else’s behalf, make sure you have their permission. The current aged-care enquiry form accepts enquiries for yourself or another person and states a response within 2 business days.
