Make a Bequest

Help support our community for generations to come.

A legacy of care

From aged care and disability services to mental health and community support, your generosity sustains the breadth of JewishCare’s work, guided by the Jewish principles of chessed and mishpocha.

A bequest is a lasting expression of your values. It can help ensure that the care you gave in life continues for generations to come.

Questions about leaving a gift

How will my bequest be used?

Gifts support JewishCare’s services where they are needed most. Speak with the team if you would like to discuss your wishes.

Can a smaller gift make a difference?

Every bequest can contribute to ongoing care, dignity and connection for individuals and families in the community.

How might my gift be recognised?

The source information offers recognition on the Bequest Honour Board and, in some cases, through a named initiative or program. Discuss the options with JewishCare.

Can my wishes change?

Review your Will with your solicitor when your circumstances or wishes change.

Do I have to tell JewishCare?

You are under no obligation to tell JewishCare about a bequest. Letting the team know gives them the opportunity to thank you and discuss your intentions.

Where does JewishCare’s funding come from?

Support includes government funding, the Claims Conference, communal and foundation funding, private donations, client contributions and Print35 sales. Bequests help the organisation plan for future services.

Plan your gift with the right advice

The existing bequest materials identify the recipient as JewishCare Foundation Trust ABN 85 845 312 459. Share the official brochure with your solicitor and confirm the appropriate wording and recipient details before updating your Will.

An enquiry is a conversation about your wishes; it does not create or update a Will. The original enquiry and bequest-information forms remain on the JewishCare website.
